Chiswick Chamber Orchestra was founded in 2024 to bring together talented local musicians and fill St Michael and All Angels church with the glorious sounds of the chamber music repertoire.
Our maiden performances, playing all six of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos over two Sundays in February 2025, were a great success. These concerts were part of the celebration of 150 years of Bedford Park and raised £3,500 for The St Michael’s Heritage Conservation Fund. All the musicians enjoyed playing this wonderful music and our audiences of over 210 people for each performance loved listening to it.
On Sunday 23rd November we performed Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis to over 160 people and, in addition to “filling St Michael’s with the glorious sounds of a chamber music orchestra”, we raised £2,000 for The St Michael’s Heritage Conservation Fund.
At our Children’s Christmas Concert on Sunday 7th December we performed two favourites, Kleinsinger’s Tubby the Tuba and Prokoviev’s Peter and the Wolf and raised over £1000 for The St Michael’s Heritage Conservation Fund.
At our first concert for 2026 on 1st February at 3pm, pianist Viv McLean will play Mozart’s piano concerto No. 21 as part of an all-Mozart programme conducted by Sandy Burnett.
Tickets for all concerts are available for booking on the Ticket Sales page.
